The owner had used this car for many years and then while he was working overseas, the vehicle deteriorated significantly, requiring major restoration to bring it back to being a "vehicle of pleasure" to add to his collection.
After removing a rubbish bin full of plastic filler, the extent of work required became evident. The choice then needed to be made whether to abandon the vehicle or rebuild and the owner, a keen enthusiast of cars from the 60s and 70s, decided on the latter. This was a three year car restoration project requiring the removal of all body skins, fabrication of sills (rocker panels), floor pan, replacement skins from the waist down, new boot skin and upholstery, including carpets.
